#GoodNewsFriday: Holly and Jolly
Don’t panic! It’s not Christmas just yet! But it is time to start talking about something fun coming up in #StamfordTexas so you can plan accordingly. The inaugural Fall Festival was a tremendous success and now we looking forward to the Stamford Chamber of Commerce’s 3rd annual Holly Jolly Christmas Classic on Saturday, December 4th. The first year was wonderful and last year was a success despite the limitations of a pandemic.
This year, we’re taking Christmas celebration to a new level. We expect more vendors than ever. The cornhole tournament will continue. Santa will be in attendance, of course. After the success of this fall’s “cruise nights,” you can expect that the car show will be topped off with a cruise to remember! Events will conclude with a Christmas movie night at The Grand Theatre.
And yes, I left something off. The day kicks off with the Mayor’s Santa Chase 5K! I’ve “run” (it’s a flexible term) the first two races and I’ll be there this year, but I have some special ideas in the mix. Will I run in a Santa suit? Something more ridiculous? Stay tuned! Get yourself registered for the events, tell your friends, car collectors, vendors, and anyone else who needs to know, and mark your calendar for December 4 in the heart of downtown Stamford!
